- Preferred timeframe and any fixed deadline
- Who can provide access or meet Shaun on site
Describe the job
- What problem needs solving?
- Approximate length, width, depth or area
- Where material will come from or go
- Expected finish or reinstatement
- Any earlier repairs or known issues
Access and conditions
- Gate width, low branches and overhead lines
- Slopes, soft ground, waterways or boggy areas
- Stock, dogs, children or other site activity
- Known underground pipes, cables or drains
- Machinery or materials already available
Useful photos
- Wide view showing the whole work area
- Access route from the road or main farm track
- Close-ups of damage, leaks, obstacles or connections
- A tape measure or familiar object for scale where helpful
Before excavation: Do not assume the location of buried electricity, gas, communications, water or drainage services. Identifying services and obtaining any required permissions must be addressed before digging.
